How to Participate: Register at neuralink.com/trials/visual-prosthesis/ An experimental implant that directly stimulates the visual cortex to restore vision. It received FDA Breakthrough Device designation in September 2024. Pre-recruitment for patients with vision loss is underway, though no human implantation has occurred yet.
